Does this formatting work in WhatsApp Business API templates?
Yes. Template messages support the same *bold*, _italic_, ~strikethrough~ and ```monospace``` marks. The body of a template can be up to 1,024 characters.
Why use Unicode fonts on Instagram?
Instagram bios and captions have no bold or italic option. Unicode styled letters look bold or italic in every app. Use them for headings only — screen readers may read them letter by letter.
