This policy describes how Infrared Techno communicates with customers and the rules our clients must follow when using messaging solutions we build or operate, including WaZappy.

1. How we message you

  • Service messages (replies to your enquiry, project updates, invoices, payment confirmations, reminders) are sent because you asked for our service.
  • Marketing messages (offers, newsletters, product news) are sent only if you opted in — for example by ticking a box, subscribing, or messaging us and agreeing to receive updates.

2. How to opt out

  • WhatsApp: reply STOP or tap the opt-out button where available.
  • SMS: follow the opt-out instruction in the message or register your preference with your telecom operator (DND / TRAI DND app).
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link or reply "unsubscribe".
  • Or write to contact@infraredtechno.com. Opt-out requests are processed promptly.

3. WhatsApp Business Platform rules

WhatsApp messaging is provided through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Clients using our WhatsApp solutions must:

  • Obtain clear opt-in from customers before sending business-initiated messages, stating that messages will come on WhatsApp.
  • Use only Meta-approved message templates for messages outside the 24-hour customer service window.
  • Honour opt-out requests immediately and keep records of consent.
  • Comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Commerce Policy and Meta's Terms.
  • Not send messages for prohibited goods or services, misleading content, or content that harasses, threatens or deceives.

4. SMS and voice (TRAI)

  • Commercial SMS must be sent through DLT-registered entities, headers (sender IDs) and content templates, as required by TRAI's Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations.
  • Promotional messages must respect customers' DND preferences and permitted time windows. Transactional and service messages must contain only the registered template content.
  • Automated or pre-recorded promotional calls must follow TRAI rules and customer preferences.

5. Email

Marketing emails identify the sender, include a valid physical address and an unsubscribe link, and are sent only to opted-in recipients.

6. Prohibited use

Bulk messaging to purchased, scraped or rented lists, phishing, impersonation, misleading claims and messages promoting illegal activity are strictly prohibited. We may suspend services immediately in case of violation, and violations may also lead to blocking by Meta or telecom operators.

7. Report spam

If you received an unwanted message that appears to come from us or a client using our platform, report it to contact@infraredtechno.com with a screenshot.
