This Privacy Policy explains how Infrared Techno ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information when you visit https://infraredtechno.com, contact us, buy our services, or use products we operate such as WaZappy and our free online tools. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, to the extent applicable.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: name, email address, phone and WhatsApp number, city, company name.
• Enquiry and project details you share through forms, email, calls or WhatsApp.
• Billing details: billing name, address and GSTIN for invoices.
• Content you provide to us for a project (text, images, documents, data exports).

Information collected automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website and time of visit.
• Analytics data processed in aggregated or pseudonymised form (we use a daily-rotating hash rather than storing raw IP addresses for visitor counts).

Payment information

Online payments are processed by authorised payment gateways (such as Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree or PhonePe). We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password. We receive only a transaction reference, amount and status from the gateway.

2. How we use information

• To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver the services you engage us for.
• To send service-related communication — project updates, invoices, payment confirmations and support replies — by email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
• To send marketing updates only where you have opted in; you can opt out at any time.
• To secure our website and tools, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations (for example GST records).
• To improve our website, content and services using aggregated analytics.

3. WhatsApp, SMS and email communication

When you message us on WhatsApp or give us your number, we may reply and send service updates on WhatsApp using the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. Promotional messages are sent only to people who have opted in. SMS is sent through TRAI DLT-registered headers and templates. Reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or contact us to opt out. See our Messaging & Anti-spam Policy.

4. AI features

Our website assistant, project estimator and certain product features send the text you type to an AI provider (for example Google Gemini) to generate a response. Please do not enter passwords, financial details or sensitive personal data in AI chats. AI responses may be inaccurate and are not professional advice.

5. Google user data

Where our products request access to Google services (for example Google Sheets, Calendar or Drive within WaZappy), we request only the minimum permissions needed for the feature you enable, use the data solely to provide that feature, do not sell it, and do not use it for advertising. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us operate — hosting, email, payment gateways, messaging providers (Meta, DLT/SMS operators), analytics and AI providers — under appropriate confidentiality.
• Government authorities or law enforcement when required by law or a valid legal request.
• A successor entity in case of a business transfer, with notice to you.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep forms secure and sessions working, and optional analytics where enabled. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

8. Data retention

Enquiries and client records are kept as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Website analytics are kept for up to about 13 months. You can ask us to delete data that we are not required to keep.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, hashed passwords, encrypted secrets, firewalls and regular backups. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.

10. Your rights

11. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
