HEIC to JPG.

iPhone photos are saved as HEIC, which many websites, government portals and job forms reject. Convert them to JPG or PNG right here — your photos never leave your device.

Converted files contain no EXIF data, so the GPS location and camera details are removed automatically.

Stop your iPhone saving HEIC

Settings → Camera → Formats → choose Most Compatible. New photos are then saved as JPG (they take more space). To keep HEIC on the phone but send JPG when sharing to a computer, set Settings → Photos → Transfer to Mac or PC → Automatic.

Tip: in the iPhone Files app you can also long-press a photo → Quick Actions → Convert Image.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion runs inside your browser with JavaScript. The photos never leave your phone or computer, which makes it safe for ID cards, documents and personal pictures.

Why do government portals reject iPhone photos?

Most Indian portals (passport, exams, banking KYC) accept only JPG or PNG within a size limit in KB. Use the Max width and Target size options to meet those limits.

Does it work on iPhone itself?

Yes. Open this page in Safari, tap the upload area, choose photos and download the converted JPG files — they save to the Files app.

Why is conversion slow for large batches?

HEIC decoding happens on your device. Big batches of 12–48 MP photos can take a few seconds each, especially on older phones.
