Imposter Domain Finder.
Scammers register domains that look like yours — one letter off, a 0 instead of an o, or “yourbrand-support.com” — to cheat your customers. Find them before your customers do.
We generate around 200 look-alike names and check each one live. This takes 20–60 seconds.
Registered look-alike domains
Domains you own yourself will appear here too — ignore those. Focus on high risk: new domains with email or a live website.
Found a fake domain? What to do
- Take screenshots of the site and note the date — evidence matters.
- Report abuse to the registrar and hosting company (their abuse e-mail is in our Domain Report). Phishing sites are usually removed within days.
- Report it at cybercrime.gov.in and to Google Safe Browsing so browsers show a warning.
- Warn customers on your website, WhatsApp and social media with the exact fake address.
- Protect yourself: register your key variants (.in, .co.in, common typos) and set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC with p=reject so nobody can send email as your real domain.
Types of look-alike domains we check
- Other extensions: yourbrand.in, .co.in, .online, .shop, .xyz…
- Look-alike letters: 0 for o, 1 for l, rn for m, vv for w.
- Extra words: yourbrand-support, yourbrandcare, login-yourbrand, yourbrandofficial.
- Typos: missing, doubled and swapped letters, neighbouring keys, extra hyphens.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a look-alike domain with email (MX) dangerous?
A domain with mail servers can send emails that look like they come from your company — fake invoices, payment requests or job offers. These are behind most business email scams.
Does a registered look-alike always mean fraud?
No. It may be parked by a domain investor, owned by an unrelated business or by you. New registrations with a website or email are the ones to investigate first.
How often should I check?
Monthly for most businesses, and immediately if customers report strange messages. Infrared Techno can set up automatic monitoring and takedown support for your brand.
